The Rahamim Charity Fund was established in 1975 by Mr. Victor Alhadeff, president of the Sephardic congregation "Shaarei Rhammim", of blessed Memory.

Rabbi Ben-Haim was the beloved spiritual leader of this congregation for 14 years, and the charity was named "Rahamim" (empathy) by the Rabbi. Since its onset, the Rahamim charity fund has helped many people in the U.S and Israel.

With gods help, this charity has grown stronger throughout the years, and today, primarily through the proceeds of the Hilloulot, the fund supports 14 families of Talmudic Scholars in Israel. The Families have been supported by the fund for the past 9 years.

At the same time, the Rahamim charity fund helps every needy person and every Torah establishment that comes its way, each according to their needs and our capability.
